Welcome to South Mitten Australian Labradoodles. We are a small family breeder in Southern Michigan dedicated to raising highly socialized, fully health-tested Australian Labradoodles. We ADORE our dogs, and love constantly learning more, and teaching others about this amazing breed.
Our dogs and puppies are part of our family and never kenneled or kept outdoors or a separate living area of the house. They live in our home as spoiled pets and very much a part of our family happenings. They go everywhere they can with us, and are well-socialized and used to children and a wide variety of people. Proper socialization and early stimulation training is important to the puppy you will adopt, therefore much attention is given to your new puppy.
While in our home we take the utmost care of your new puppy. Your puppy will be spoiled, loved on and worked with until the day you take him or her home! You can be assured that the best care and attention is given to all aspects of breeding, and that we are devoted to this unique breed. Only fully tested, excellent temperament Labradoodles are allowed to participate in our breeding program. Our high standards of ethics, and adherence to these policies ensures we will provide only the best Australian Labradoodles.

I just got my second puppy from Cammie! My first puppy is now 10 months old. I can’t say enough about how well the puppies are raised by this fabulous family. The puppies get exposed to stimuli and other experiences so when they come to you they are amazing. Be sure to read all the details about how much love and time is put into raising the puppies and be assured that it is truly done and that the family loves doing it. I wouldn’t get a puppy anywhere else! ❤️

I got my first puppy from Cammie and her family about 4 months ago. The whole process was super smooth, from watching the puppies grow up through fun weekly updates to selection day and pick up. We could not be more happy with Cammie and South Mitten Labradoodles. We went into the process wanting a sweet, playful, non-shedding, 25-30 pound puppy and one year later, that is exactly what we have. Lulu was healthy and well socialized from the very beginning and quickly adapted to our family. An added bonus ... she is truly adorable and has the softest fur you can imagine. She also really does not shed ... which we needed due to lots of allergies in our house. We eagerly recommend Cammie when we are asked what kind of dog Lulu is and where we got her ... which happens on many of our walks!

Let me just start by saying South Mitten Australian Labradoodles is phenomenal. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would in a heart beat. After my childhood dog passed away, I took a few years before deciding to add another furry friend to my family. When I discovered South Mitten and reached out to Cammie, I was so impressed by how immediately she responded and the amount of detail in which she answered all my questions. Throughout the entire process, she was very quick to respond if I ever had any questions. During the first eight weeks of the puppies being born, I received constant "pupdates", sharing the progress of the puppies and how quickly they were growing. South Mitten also uses the Puppy Culture program with Early Neurological Stimulation to give the puppies the best start and foundation of life possible.
Since I brought my doodle puppy home, she has been an absolute joy and she makes me laugh every day. I love how connected South Mitten stays with the puppy families too. Our South Mitten Team
We are a fun-loving active family of 5 in south Michigan who all take part in the work and fun of raising dogs and puppies. My husband and I both work in schools as a social worker and a teacher respectively, so nurturing, patience and love in interacting and training dogs is very natural for us. Each member of our family helps train, socialize, bathe and clean up after our dogs. We take our dogs with us anywhere we can, and we all love talking about our dogs whenever possible.
We got our first Australian Labradoodle about 10 years ago after extensive research on "the perfect family dog." Although I had owned, bred and trained various breeds of dogs and horses throughout my life, we were now interested in a breed that would not affect our girls' allergies and asthma, and a dog that would not shed! Furthermore, we needed a dog that was a "go-anywhere and everywhere dog" so that we could continue visiting friends and family, kayaking, hiking, camping, and a dog that was easy-going enough to get along with all kinds of people and pets. The rest is history and we have gotten so much joy (along with the sleepless nights and the stress :)) to help others on their journey for what we believe is
